Car Parking
Use the car park permit available within the apartment.
It is recommended that you use the car park located 150 metres down Lake Road on the right (just after the shop ‘Adventure Peaks’). This is free, provided the parking permit is prominently displayed.
This permit you may be used in other council operated car parks in Ambleside and the surrounding area including the King Street, Low Fold, Rydal Road car parks.
The parking permit must be returned at the end of your stay (unfortunately a new annual permit has to be purchased if one is lost, current price £705).
If you need to park an additional car at Lake Road car park you can 'Pay by Phone' using location code 9908. There is a significantly discounted 'all day early bird tariff' available if you buy a 'Pay & Display' ticket between 8.00pm and 9.00am (currently only £1.10 for the day).
It is possible to park at indicated spaces on Lake Road for 1 hour using a parking disc which can be obtained from Ambleside shops.
